LONG MEADOW Music first formed in 2009 and the first practice was on Longmeadow Creek. We started as a trio playing in Connecticut and New York restaurants, fairs, Running events, Petting Farms, Contra Dances, charities, private parties and so many other down home events. Our repertoire includes everything from traditional Bluegrass and Fiddle Tunes and originals to more familiar numbers from Rock n' Roll, Country, and Folk,  which is why we are considered to be Americana music. LONG MEADOW is a Bluegrass based instrument format consisting of Guitar,  Stand-up Bass and Fiddle and performs as a Duo and Trio but has available other musicians when the occasion may warrent a Mandolin or Banjo or both.

One will hear recognizable numbers from Bill Monroe to John Denver, Marshall Tucker to Merle Travis to The Gratefull Dead and so many more.All are done in our own interpretation. We may have songs from a variety of genres but we don't change genres, we're just LONG MEADOW MUSIC.
